About Us - Join Us
Thanks for visiting Bratnober.com. We're a small band of
plotters and schemers but we do have names and well rounded, Midwestern faces and
we'd like to invite you to the Reunion.
Our goal is an enjoyable weekend for every Bratnober
descendant, and his or her family, who'd like to join us in Minneapolis from Friday
evening August 1st til Sunday August 3rd, 2003. Most
functions, including a Saturday picnic, will be informal.
We'll start posting reunion plans here on the website by the
Spring of 2003. But stop back sooner for more history, photos and preliminary
information that we hope to begin uploading shortly.
A preliminary show of interest regarding the Reunion and/or
the Book would also be great if you'd like to email that to us. No commitments
necessary. And no need to post this in the Guest Book. Just email us about it, if
you like, so we can get some early proportions. Your postal address would be very
helpful to have by email for future communication. Do not put your
postal address into our Internet visible Guest Book here at the website-just email
that to us.
And thanks for your nice emails already, from near and far!

P.S.
Being partly Prussian, we may, occasionally, take on
large tasks in a somewhat overzealous manner. New partners who'd like to help in
one of the various categories listed above are always welcome. Those residing in
Minnesota who would like to assist Jane Ransom in the future are especially
encouraged to reply.
Your email submissions for the website (photos, documents,
articles) on Bratnober History are also warmly invited. We'll start with the
past---The Five Bratnober Siblings and their children and grandchildren, should
you have things along these lines that you'd like to submit. After seeing what we
can do here, we'll start filling in our present selves and families as best we
can in time for the Reunion. Just email anything of the older variety for right
now and we'll post it here on the website. Only statements that your "child is
on the honor roll", or that "the Bratnobers actually came over on the Mayflower"
will be subject to further careful scrutiny and review by the Historians.
